Waiting for your contributions ! The postal history of the Baltic provinces of the Russian Empire has so far received very little attention in the literature. For 30years, very few articles have been written on this matter .  Starting from a review article  published in BJRP in 2022 (you will find it stored in our blog on page "Literature survey"), we would like to opum a forum on this topic and ask for as many contributions as possible.  These contributions can be deposited either on our facebook page, or following the instructions given on the page  "RPSC production" of our blog.  Thank you in advance for your participation !

 Don't forget your 3rd zoom meeting that will be held today May 22nd at 6:PM (Paris time) . On the agenda: - A presentation on "Stamps and Corporate Marks in the Postal System of the Russian Empire" (approximately 40 minutes - Presentation: Gilbert M. Rios) followed by an open discussion. - A presentation for the creation of a new community named "Russian Philately Study Circle" (RPSC).

A third online meeting will be held on May 22, 2025, using the Zoom platform. Further details on the time and access to the virtual meeting room will be provided later to Circle members only. On the agenda: - A presentation on "Stamps and Corporate Marks in the Postal System of the Russian Empire" (approximately 40 minutes - Presentation: Gilbert M. Rios) followed by an open discussion. - A presentation of a project to create a community called the "Russian Philately Study Circle" (RPSC), a lightweight structure with few constraints in terms of costs and organization, designed to ensure more regular contact between people interested in the field of Russian philately. It would operate on a voluntary basis, and membership would be free.

After two successful online meetings organized in 2024 on the theme of "Philately and Postal History of Russia and Neighboring Countries", we are now considering the creation of a lightweight structure, with few constraints in terms of cost and organization, which would allow continuous communication between people interested in this subject, ready to get involved and willing to share. In addition to other online meetings, this structure would rely on the use of a blog/website for ongoing communication and a storage space to house the documents generated by activities (videos, articles, etc.). Above, we present what could be the Circle's logo. To learn more about the genesis and outline of this project, you can visit the blog page entitled "The Circle" (Russian Philately Study Circle). Other pages are dedicated to general information and various types of activities planned to achieve the general objectives just discussed.
